Spring is in the air, I can feel it.....

I love the change of seasons. I enjoy watching the sun rise a little earlier and love when the days become a little longer. I guess you can say, I love sunshine. I enjoy fall as well and aget so excited when any of the season begins to change. I start thinking about new projects around the house and what can I add or delete with the change of season. For my home, I am thinking of adding some new accent pillows. I think I am going to be on a hunt for a soft celery green. Something so simple to add a new touch.

This weekend, I am heading to visit my niece in OKC and am anxious to find out what spring flowers she is growing. There is nothing better to add to your home to give it a fresh look and add new color for spring! Her and her husband have an urban farm and I enjoy checking out all the new veggies and flowers they have planted. Of course, the reason for the trip is her two little boys. They are just too cute❤. Anyway, I am excited about the trip and the adventure.

Next, in order to get ready for spring, I need to think about my wardrobe. What is out there for spring 2022 in trends that I like and want to add to my closet? Do I need to make a purchase or do I already have the pieces and just need to put them together to create a “new look? What are some of the trends that I like? Well, for starters, it is all about color. I do wear a lot of black, but I like color as well. The look for spring that I am gravitating to the most, is Monochromatic. I like black on black, red on red, and so on. Green is still very important for Spring. Oh, green on green could look fabulous!

The baggier jeans are something else I was excited about. I did purchase a couple this past fall but excited that they are hanging around for spring. So much more comfort in wearing a straight or baggy jean when it is hot. The skinny jeans can stick to you when the temps get up there.

I have always loved looks of delicate crochet. I remember seeing in the swim areas last summer and think it looks fresh this spring as well. I really like this cardigan!

Happen to go into target to pickup a couple valentines for the little ones and took a pic of this cute short cardigan. How fun!

So, let's be thinking of a new season to get excited about. Tennis shoes are still the cool thing to wear! So, we can live in flip flops, sandals, and tennis shoes all season long! That is something to celebrate!

Get outside this weekend and breath in fresh air and contemplate on what you want to add to your home and wardrobe to put a little "spring" into your step!
