All I could do was laugh...at my annual Doctor's appointment

Not that health is not serious, but I do have to laugh at all the questions my doctor was asking me. I said, no but is this what I have to look forward to? She laughed. How are my bowel movements, do I have leakage, and on and on. What was really funny is I said, describe what you mean by this. Oh my, I could answer yes to a few questions that she asked. She asked if I still drank wine every night. I said, most nights, it averages out. She asks what I meant. I said most nights I have one glass and if I miss a night, I had two probably on another night. She looked a little puzzled. She then asks about my caffeine intake and if I was still drinking a lot of coffee. I have about six cups a day. That answer would be yes. The last visit was somewhat a little more serious for me is because I was concerned about osteoporosis. I knew that the previous year she said I had beginning stage but nothing alarming. I did not want that to get worse. We took blood and will find out if I have corrected that. She then asked if I was still taking vitamin D. Yes, and that is, it. I am fortunate that I have not needed any prescription drugs. I am not good at other vitamins. She seemed okay with all my answers.

Anyway, I have taken most of aging very well and have actually thought the getting older is not bad at all. I am ok with the wrinkles, graying hair, and a few more aches and pains in the morning. I did get a few things added to my calendar. Get a pap smear, a colonoscopy, and a mammogram. I guess that is to say that my body is becoming out of warranty and need to have more checkups! It is all good. I fretted about all the appointments that I had to go to. However, I quickly reminded myself that I had good news and was healthy. I should not complain and be thankful. Many of my friends have had health issues and have spent countless times in appointments. I am thankful.
Keep smiling and just laugh!
